User Data Deletion

1. Your Right to Erasure

AstralRead is operated by Viktor Balakirev, an individual and tax resident of Montenegro (address for correspondence: c/o Aleksandrova Obala 33, Zelenika, 85347 Herceg Novi, Montenegro). Under GDPR Article 17, the California Consumer Privacy Act, and our own commitments, you have the right to permanently delete your account and all personal data we hold about you.

2. What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days:

• Your email address, name, and login credentials
• All saved natal charts and birth data
• All chat history and AI-generated interpretations
• All saved synastries and partner charts
• Push notification subscriptions and preferences
• Subscription state and payment references
• Instagram Direct Message conversation history with our bot

Aggregated, anonymized analytics (e.g. "X users viewed Y page on date Z") that cannot be linked back to you may be retained.

3. Delete Your Account — Self-Service

The fastest way to delete your account is through your account page:

1. Sign in at astralread.com/login
2. Open your Account page
3. Scroll to the bottom and click "Delete account"
4. Confirm the action — deletion takes effect immediately

4. Delete via Email (If You Cannot Sign In)

If you have lost access to your account, send a deletion request from the email address associated with your AstralRead account to:

Please use the subject line "Data Deletion Request". We will verify your ownership of the email address and complete the deletion within 7 business days, sending you a confirmation when done.

5. Instagram / Facebook Login Users

If you started a conversation with our Instagram bot but never created a website account, your data is limited to your Instagram Scoped User ID and the conversation transcript. To delete this:

1. Open Instagram → Direct Messages → conversation with @astralread or @astralread_ru
2. Send the message "delete my data" (or "удалить мои данные")
3. Or email [email protected] with the subject "Instagram Data Deletion" and your Instagram handle

Per Meta Platform Terms, we delete all Instagram-related data within 30 days of the request. You will receive a confirmation message in the Direct conversation.
