AstralRead in ChatGPT and Claude

What it does

• Natal chart: the sign, degree and house of every planet, the North Node and Chiron, the Ascendant and Midheaven, the twelve house cusps (Koch, Placidus or Whole Sign) and the major aspects with their orbs. In ChatGPT the chart is drawn as a wheel.
• Today's transits to your chart: only aspects that are really within orb, each planet's sign and the Moon phase.
• Sky of the day: the Moon's sign and phase, new and full moons, sign changes, retrograde stations and the day's exact aspects.
• Knowledge-base lookup: AstralRead pages for a placement, aspect, house, pattern or transit — for example "Venus square Saturn" or "7th house".

How to add it

ChatGPT

1. Once AstralRead is listed in the ChatGPT apps directory, find it by name and click Connect.
2. Until then you can add it yourself if developer mode is available on your account: Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings → turn on Developer mode → Create.
3. Name: AstralRead. MCP server URL: https://astralread.com/mcp
4. Authentication: No authentication. Save, then mention AstralRead in a chat.

Claude

1. Open Settings → Connectors and click Add custom connector.
2. Name: AstralRead. URL: https://astralread.com/mcp
3. No sign-in is needed. Turn the connector on in a chat from the tools menu. Custom connector availability depends on your Claude plan.

Tip: An exact birth time gives you houses and the Ascendant. Without a time the app builds the chart without houses and angles and notes that the Moon's position is approximate.

Privacy

• No account is needed.
• Birth date, time and place are used only for the calculation in that request — we do not store them or write them to logs.
• Only the place name — never the date or time — is sent to the Photon geocoder (OpenStreetMap data).
• Logs hold only technical events: which tool ran, language, success or error, duration.
• The conversation itself is processed by OpenAI or Anthropic under their own policies.
• The app is suitable for users aged 13 and over.
