What Venus retrograde means

The shadow periods

The entire Venus retrograde loop, including the shadow phases, lasts 110 days. The pre-shadow begins on April 7, 2028, when Venus first passes the degree where it will later station direct — this is 33 days before the retrograde station. The post-shadow continues until July 26, 2028, when Venus returns to the degree where it originally turned retrograde — that is 34 days after the direct station. During these shadow periods, the themes of the retrograde gradually build up and then fade away. Issues that surface during the retrograde may first become noticeable in early April, and final resolutions or clarifications can extend into late July.
