New moon in Aquarius 2027: what it is about

According to Vronsky, a Moon in Aquarius makes people more sensitive and nervous. Subconsciously, there is a wish for freedom and change, so the desire to alter the usual order of things may appear — even a simple rearrangement at home can be done while the Moon moves through Aquarius. Routine work does not go well, everyday problems are hard to solve; instead, the new, interesting and unusual attracts. Serious miscalculations that affect career and business activity are possible. Yet this is a good time for scientific work and inventing; new ideas bring results. It is useful to look toward the future, but one must realistically assess one's chances and not let imagination take over. One should think carefully before speaking. In these days it is practically useless to appeal to reason — the soul craves something thrilling, so it is easier to believe in fairy tales and miracles. People often turn to astrologers, clairvoyants, fortune-tellers, or try to tell fortunes themselves. The Moon in Aquarius often brings surprises, unexpected encounters with interesting people and old friends. Predictions and premonitions come true. One's own actions and the behaviour of others may be quite unexpected and unusual.

The aspects and the sky on the day

At the moment of the new moon, the Sun and Moon are together in Aquarius. Jupiter is retrograde, as is Mars in Virgo and Uranus in Gemini. Mercury is in its pre-shadow period: it will go retrograde from February 9 to March 3, 2027, with a shadow from January 25 to March 23. Mars is already retrograde (from January 10 to April 1, 2027, shadow from November 5, 2026 to June 8, 2027). Other planets: Venus in Capricorn, Saturn in Aries, Neptune in Aries, Pluto in Aquarius.

What it may mean inside

This new moon carries an image of a sudden opening — like a window that was stuck and now flies open. The opposition from Jupiter suggests a tension between the wish to expand (reach out, trust, hope) and the need to stay grounded in one's own unique, perhaps unconventional, path. Inside, there may be a sense of being pulled between old certainties and a new, still unclear direction. The eclipse amplifies this: it is a threshold where something is ending and something else is beginning, though the new is not yet visible. The question may be: what part of my life feels ready to be released, and what fresh perspective is quietly waiting to be seen?

How to live the new moon in February 2027

• • Take time to be still, especially around the eclipse moment. A short walk, sitting by a window, or writing down whatever comes to mind can help.
• • If you feel restless or want to change something, start small — rearrange a shelf, try a new route, or explore a topic that interests you. Vronsky notes that routine work is harder now, so it is better to focus on what feels fresh.
